The REAL Deal

Admittance, the first step to addressing a problem.

My problem, pizza and M&Ms.

Now that's out, I feel better and can continue on with this blog post.

Becoming healthy-er, I have found out something about myself... I need to take my own advice.
Just today, sitting at lunch I was sharing my "expert" dieting advice with those struggling with discipline in regards to eating foods that do not fit in the "dieting guidelines."

BUT... what I realized is that I have lied to myself and others - I have not been a good example, dedicated or what some call it on my Facebook wall - "inspiring."

Instead of being those adjectives, my goal is to be realistic...that's right, REAL - istic.

Goals for readers & myself: Be REAL with how you feel and what you eat.

1. Eat REAL food, not processed.
2. Make REAL goals - sometimes Sun.-Wed. goals work best.
3. Do REAL exercise - not a brisk walk with the dog, actually work up a sweat for at least 30 minutes a day.

Fight the temptations this weekend!

As for me, I'm keepin' it real.
